WRITING

Nikola Tesla was born in Crotia in 1856. He studied electrical engineering. After death of his father he had to leave university and started to work. He went to Budapest and couple of years later he moved to Paris to work as an engineer.

After two years Tesla went to USA and worked at there for Edison's company. Even he improved motor generators at the company, he didn't get any reward for that. And he left the company for this reason.

Tesla devised an electrical distribution system that employed alternating current (AC). It was more effective than direct current (DC) system of Edison. He was also working on wireless transfer, he thought that it was possible to transmit electricity wirelessly.

During his life, Tesla registered more than 300 patents. He died in 1943 when he was 86 years old.

Nicola Tesla 1856 yılında Hırvatistan'da doğmuştur. Elektrik mühendisliği okumuştur. Babasının ölümünden sonra üniversiteden ayrılmak zorunda kalmış ve çalışmaya başlamıştır. Mühendis olarak çalışmak üzere Budapeşte'ye gitmiş birkaç yıl sonra da Paris'e taşınmıştır.

İki yıl sonra Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ne gitmiş ve Edison'un şirketinde çalışmaya başlamıştır. Şirkette jeneratör motorlarını geliştirmiş olmasına rağmen bunun için hiçbir ödül almamıştır. Bu sebeple de şirketten ayrılmıştır.

Tesla, alternatif akım (AC) kullanan bir elektrik dağıtım sistemi geliştirmiştir. Bu akım Edison'un doğru akım (DC) sisteminden daha etkiliydi. Ayrıca Tesla kablosuz transfer üzerine çalışmaktaydı, elektriği kablosuz olarak iletmenin mümkün olduğunu düşünüyordu.

Tesla, hayatı boyunca 300'den fazla patent almıştır. 1943 yılında 86 yaşındayken ölmüştür.
